Last week we got to ski "Coast to Coast" at Park City Mountain (PCM) with local pro, Alex Schlopy. Starting at Super Condor on the far north side, Alex skied across the resort's 7300 acres, finishing at McConkey's chairlift with a final run down to town! It took him nine lifts, over 18 miles of skiing, and right around three hours—plus a bus ride back to Canyons Village.

The snow was hard in the morning and the groomers were firm. But by about 10:30 a.m. they had softened up enough to really lay an edge and carve some turns. Full sun was in the forecast and Alex was able to carve and jib in the soft snow—making for some epic spring skiing!

Days like these are some of the most fun of the season. Spring skiing, party lapping parks, exploring your home mountain—all of this adds up to making incredible memories. And after a great year of snowfall, PCM has a 114'' base depth at the time of this writing, the skiing has just been so good. Luckily, PCM is staying open an extra week this year. So, don't think about putting the boards away yet, there is plenty of riding to be done across the whole mountain!
