Burns Saddlery

Back to Top of List

The Burns family are the pros when it comes to perfectly crafted leather boots, saddles, and belts. In fact, Burns Saddlery holds the title of the world's oldest Western retail business (owned by the same family). The headquarters are still in Salina, Utah, the location of the original shop, founded by visionary craftsman and musician, Miles Lamonie Burns. Demand for saddles has morphed over the decades, but the Burns family tradition of cowboy and quality stays true.

With nearly 150 years of experience, mastery emulates from every item in the Park City Main Street shop. Their gorgeous hats even appear on the hit television series Yellowstone. Every handmade, western-style pair of boots or hat is an heirloom that will last a lifetime and then some.

Female-founded and steeped in tradition, JW Bennet is a modern approach to the old-time methods of felt-hat making. Wyoming-born, Sarah Kjorstad, is the company's founder and creative director. The name JW is an ode to her family's cattle brand, and the hats pay homage to Sarah's first style icon, her grandmother. Lara Azria-Reucassel oversees company operations and finance. She infuses her experience as an international fashion model and entrepreneur into daily operations.

The flagship JW Bennet is in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, and Park City is the only other JW Bennet boutique worldwide. All hats are handmade by women in Jackson Hole on 100-year-old equipment and traditional millinery techniques. Tradition combines with sustainability for hat bands that incorporate foraged feathers and handloom beaded bands made by local women. Each JW Bennet hat is unique and ethical. Stop in for a fitting, and leave with a timeless accessory.

We Norwegians

Back to Top of List

Founder and designer Tove Grane spent two decades in the fashion industry before launching her label, We Norwegians. Her vision demanded the making of all garments in Europe because of the strict regulations for worker protection and chemical protocols and sustainability is at the forefront of her design. We Norwegians uses biodegradable materials like wool. She chose the name, We Norwegians, to reflect the country's values of peace, democracy, equal rights, and tolerance. Additionally, wool as a fabric represents Norwegian values— practical and functional.

The Park City location is the only store in the US. Tove designs clothing for beautiful and timeless wear, so the quality garments never go out of style and last.

Outlets Park City

Kimberly Flores was a news reporter who focused on environmental issues in Utah. In 2018, her world shattered when she uncovered the truth about the United States' dirty recycling secret: much recycling travels the ocean to third-world country landfills: Kimberly's solution – transition to a zero-waste lifestyle. However, when she couldn't find a place to refill personal hygiene and household cleaners, she launched fulFILLed.

FulFILLed started as a mobile refill van. Now, the robust space in the outlet malls brims with all things sustainable. Bring containers, pick up donated glass jars, or buy reusable glassware to refill hygiene and house cleaners. Greenify the kitchen and home with reusable, cloth "paper towels," bamboo dish scrubbers, reusable storage bags, metal straws, and beeswax wrap. Then peruse the selection of local handmade items like pottery, bags, hats made from up-cycled fabric scraps, soaps, and apothecary items. Then wander into the back of the shop for up-cycled clothing from various collectors, and finally pick up a "new" used book. FulFILLed is a delightful consumer experience for all things sustainable.
