The Beer Festival is one of the best ways to celebrate fall in Park City!

Kicking off the fall season is the Deer Valley Beer Festival, September 14-15, from noon to 5 p.m., a must-visit for craft beer enthusiasts. Held at Deer Valley Silver Lake, this festival features a wide selection of local brews, from hoppy IPAs to rich stouts.

Among the prominent participants are UTOG Brewing, Talisman Brewing, Moab Brewery, TF Brewing, and Heber Valley Brewing. These breweries and numerous others have established a reputation in past festivals, with Moab Brewery taking home the "Best of Fest" title last year.

This year, the Deer Valley Beer Festival is raising the bar with 21 brewers participating, up from 17 in previous years. In addition to the expanded selection of craft beers, festival-goers can also look forward to tasting delicious local ciders, enriching the experience and showcasing the best of Utah's brewing scene, with more than 75 beverages to taste at the festival. This growth highlights the festival's popularity and the vibrant craft beverage culture that thrives in Park City.

For those who prefer the elegance of wine, the Park City Wine Festival is a can’t-miss event. The Fifth Annual Park City Wine Festival has introduced 13 exciting new activations for the October 3-5 weekend. These unique experiences will transport wine enthusiasts to destinations such as the Gold Coast, Argentina, Oregon, Japan, and beyond, offering diverse tastings and cultural insights that enhance the festival's appeal.

This gathering brings together winemakers and connoisseurs from around the world. Guests can enjoy tastings, wine dinners, and discussions with winemakers that offer insights into wine production and pairing. This festival is an immersive experience that allows attendees to explore the rich tapestry of wine culture.

Shot Ski

The 8th Annual Park City Sunrise Shot Ski is an event blending community spirit and fundraising with a splash of fun. Over a thousand participants will line up along Main Street on Saturday, Oct. 12, at 2 p.m., holding a ski customized to carry shot glasses. At the signal, everyone takes a shot simultaneously, aiming to break the record for the longest shot ski. Park City holds the current record at 2,950-foot-long shot ski with 1,363 shots of High West Double Rye whiskey, using 551 skis end to end and raising more than $40,000 for the Park City Sunrise Rotary Club grant program.

This year, the Park City Sunrise Shot Ski is ambitiously hoping to raise $60,000 to support local community initiatives and programs. During the event, the Sunrise Rotatory Club aims to serve 1,385 shots at $30 each. Shot glasses can be filled with whiskey or apple cider.

Rounding out the fall festivities are the last few weekends of the Park Silly Market, an open-air market that runs every Sunday on Main Street. This eclectic market features 200 local artisans, fresh produce, and live music. It's a family-friendly event that captures the heart of Park City's community spirit. Strolling through the market, visitors can find unique souvenirs, enjoy delicious street food, and soak in the vibrant atmosphere.

Locals and visitors alike are encouraged to immerse themselves in the lively atmosphere of the Park Silly Market. This gathering is not just a marketplace; it's a celebration of community and a perfect chance to connect with neighbors, discover unique handmade goods, and indulge in what makes Park City unique.

Scheduled throughout October this year, participating restaurants will select dates within the month they would like to participate (be sure to check the PCRA website for updates.) This culinary extravaganza invites food lovers to delve into the vibrant and diverse dining landscape of Park City. Guests can enjoy a gastronomic journey with two-course lunches priced at $15, $20, or $25 per person, alongside three-course dinners available for $30, $45, or $60, depending on the establishment. Also new this year, Après: Cocktails & Bites for $20. This event provides a fantastic opportunity to experience the culinary brilliance of Park City's award-winning restaurants at unbeatable prices.
