The Arts Council has been fostering local creativity and sustainability for almost four decades and has tips and examples for integrating creativity with sustainability – elevating meetings and events.

Wildlife Conservation in Park City

Many wildlife species inhabit Park City, from deer, elk and moose to coyotes, foxes, osprey and eagles. Protecting wildlife is crucial for preserving our destination’s natural landscapes, outdoor recreation economy and biodiversity for future generations.

  • The Swaner Preserve and EcoCenter is a 1,200-acre protected area that serves as a hub for wildlife watching and conservation education. It hosts guided nature walks and programs focused on local flora and fauna.
  • Save People Save Wildlife is an advocacy group pushing for the construction of wildlife crossings and fencing along major roadways in Park City to prevent vehicle collisions with animals and allow safe wildlife movement.
  • Organizations like Park City Wildlife Rehab work to rescue, rehabilitate and release injured native wildlife back into the wild.
